We feel truly honored to teach pickleball and do what we love every day.

More than that, we are committed to building a company that has real meaning — one that goes beyond the court to give back to those in need.

At The Pickleball Experience, we believe pickleball is far more than a sport — it’s a powerful platform for connection, joy, and creating real-world impact.

Although we donate a portion of proceeds from every clinic and retreat we host, this was our first intentionally designed charity pickleball clinic — a dedicated pickleball fundraiser where every single dollar from participant registrations went directly to the Tashirat Orphanage in Tepoztlán, Mexico, a heart-centered home providing care, education, and love to abandoned and vulnerable children.

Jem Morris first discovered Tashirat through our close friend Marissa, who has dedicated her life to serving at the orphanage. Marissa lives the mission daily, ensuring the children receive the nurturing environment they deserve.

Jem has personally supported Tashirat since 2008, and The Pickleball Experience has proudly continued those donations since 2020. This special charity pickleball event became our largest expression of that long-standing commitment yet.

Led by Jem and powered by the vibrant Holua community, the clinics combined high-level coaching, spirited play, and genuine connection. Players of all levels showed up knowing their participation was making a direct difference. Together, the community raised an inspiring $4,000 for the children at Tashirat.

A Heartfelt Moment of Gratitude

The peak of joy came when we surprised Marissa with the total donation amount .

Her reaction was pure and deeply moving: a wave of heartfelt gratitude and heartfelt disbelief. In that moment, the impact of what we had accomplished together felt incredibly real.

Even more touching, we received a beautiful thank you video from children at the Tashirat.
